Digital Video Marketing
Success Stories
Real Estate Subdivision Video

Digital Video Marketing (DVM) has been working with Real Estate professionals to market single family homes and large residential subdivisions. Even with the slowdown in the economy and slow sales in the real estate market, developers and agents are learning that you just can't stop advertising. You have to use new and creative ways to market your properties. Social media is a way for buyers to view a property and the amenities before making a commitment to visit the property in person. Video allows the developer or agent to provide more information to the potential buyer about the property. The buyer is not rushed and can view the video many times while making a decision. Below is a video produced by Digital Video Marketing. DVM assisted the developer in utilizing the video in different formats.

  • The video was played in the sales office at the front of the subdivision.

  • A DVD was manufactured to be given to visitors to the property.

  • A DVD was mailed out to potential clients looking to relocate.

  • The video was placed on the subdivision's website, YouTube, MLS, Facebook and other industry and social media websites.

  • The video was used in the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) of the subdivision's website.

DVM offers a tailored approach that meets your specific needs. If you are a real estate developer, take advantage of marketing through social media. Let Digital Video Marketing help you market your properties through the web with Video!

How to shoot video for the web.

In this first installment of "How to shoot video for the web" we will look at the type of camera you need. The camera shown is a Canon XL2 which is considered broadcast quality because it has 3 CCD chips that record in 3 colors – Red, Green and Blue. A consumer grade video camera has only one chip to handle all 3 colors. Do you need a 3-chip camera to film for the web? Yes and No. As a professional editor, I like to have high quality footage to work with even though the final video will be for the web. I like seeing true colors when I edit. Computer monitors vary drastically from machine to machine so the true colors of the food in the web video for example will vary drastically. One of my clients wanted to use the footage from an earlier shoot for an IMAG presentation and a television commercial. I could not use the footage shot by a 1-chip camera. The color was too far off from reality. I learned my lesson. Always shoot high quality and adjust downward.

In my next blog about "How to shoot video for the web" I will discuss why you should limit panning in your videos. For more information about web video go to http://www.digitalvideomarketing.com/

YouTube or not to YouTube...that is the question.

Using YouTube or any other third party video delivery system is a huge mistake! No! This may have been true when YouTube first started but this is no longer the case. Small companies to giant corporate marketing departments have embraced this video medium. Because of this involvement by the "bigger players," YouTube has gained acceptance and prominence on the web and marketing in general.

One great way to market your product or service on You Tube is by producing a video demonstration. However, it should be done professionally. In my blog I have several entries on how to professionally shoot videos for the web. Make sure your video is loaded with
correctly researched keywords that target your niche market.

In order for your business to be effective, it is important that you become an active player in the interactive consumer market. The number of online users is multiplying each day. Here are some key stats: 129.5 million people will view online video ads this year, 183.3 million will view online video in 2013, four out of five Internet users will view video ads.

Your marketing campaign will run 24/7, there are no geographical boundaries, and you can be there for your customers whenever they need you.

Listed here are some ways we have helped businesses transform their web presence by using video on their websites, YouTube, and other video sites: Product demonstrations, Service Demonstrations, "How To" Video for product servicing, Sales Message from the Owner, Sales Message from the Sales Professional, Customer Loyalty Video, Satisfied Customer Video, Humor Video, Product Recall Video, New Product or Service Launch Video, Charity Support and Involvement Video, HR and Employee Informational Video.

The majority of the population subscribing to the Internet services are the well-educated, young professionals with higher awareness levels. They're also wealthier in comparison to the average population. These are great reasons to consider them excellent marketing targets. A video of your product or service on YouTube is the medium of the twenty-first century.
